As 2019 draws to a close and I’m past 300 days of my 365 runs in 365 days challenge, my attention turns to the 12 in 12. I’ve booked 7 of the 12 events now and in doing so have realised a few things:
- The logistics can be their own challenge – travel, accommodation, mandatory kit, flights!
- It’s going to cost a bit too! Race entry + the above logistics are already adding up! It seems worth it to me to mix things up though so I’m trying to combine as may ‘local’ events with some slightly more adventurous ones.
- I’m feeling really positive about next year but I’m also sure there are likely to be a few unforeseen challenges – will just have to roll with the punches.
